The comprehensive lightweight cooperation with the Composite Technology Center (CTC) opens up new possibilities for smart and efficient lightweight construction. The aim is to identify, combine and develop lightweight technology approaches for UAM.
With the help of innovative joining technologies, performance, better environmental balance and complete automation can be achieved.
The robot-supported Ultrasonic welding is a promising solution for both thermoplastic and thermosetting – composite materials can be joined efficiently and quickly. Our Conexus technology played a key role and made Ultrasonic welding of two CFRP plates possible.
